To celebrate the launch of our brand new Traktor online course, we’re very pleased to announce that we’ve created a free microcourse to help get you started with Native Instruments’ popular Traktor DJ software. This free, entry level taster course is perfect for those of you who want to learn how to DJ without needing to buy any DJ hardware, or alternatively if you just want to learn the basics of the software. Head to the microcourse on Plugged In to get started!

Head to Plugged In, our online community, to take a free microcourse that will teach you the basics of Native Instruments’ Traktor

We have specifically designed this free Traktor micro course for beginners and it will give you a taste of how our full online DJ course works at Point Blank. Featuring lead DJ Instructor Ben Bristow, the course covers the basics of how to get up and running with Traktor, including importing and organising your music, using playlists and folders, and how to load and play tracks in the decks. There’s also an exercise where we ask you to organise your music and give you some ideas about how to get started. There’s also no need to log in – simply head to the microcourse to get started!

The microcourse is just a taste of the content you would receive on one of our full online courses, which also include real-time interaction with your instructor and classmates in the form of live masterclasses, 1-2-1 live tutorials and feedback on your skills from your instructor via messaging and forum discussions. In our full 8-week DJ Skills with Traktor course, you’ll master a full range of DJ skills including preparing your set, mixing, beatmatching, scratching, multi-deck mixing, adding your own loops, samples and effects, and much more. Contact us or head to the course page to find out more.
