Finishing the day’s events and bringing in the festival weekend which featured the likes of DJ Shadow and Carl Craig, we sat down with Hot Chip co-founder Joe Goddard. With Joe also one-half of 2 Bears and label head of Greco-Roman, we were honoured to get an exclusive insight into the creative process of one of the UK’s most well-respected electronic artists. Using the track as an example, Joe shares some essential songwriting techniques, discussing how the record came about and how he began to work on it, talking around the importance of collaboration within his music making process.
