Tommy Sunsets – ‘Neville’s Declaration’: Out Now! [Stream + DL]

We’re back again with another banger, just in time for Summer. ‘Neville’s Declaration’ is the first release from latest PB Music signing Tommy Sunset. A chilled summer anthem with a hypnotic groove, ‘Nevilles Declaration’ is a must-have cut for your collection this year. You can purchase ‘Neville’s Declaration’ on iTunes and stream it on Spotify.

One of the Co-founders of Charged events, Tommy Sunsets is storming into the UK underground scene. Having been mixing house and techno for 5 years, Tommy has been pushing himself out there in the last 6 months after going full time & attending Point Blank in London. Having recently released his debut EP called ‘Rumble’, Sunsets has been supporting huge artists from the likes of Elrow with his uniquely uplifting style. Tommy has played at some of the best clubs in the U.K. Including Egg, Lightbox, Fire & Beaverworks and has begun securing festival bookings for the summer. ‘Neville’s Declaration’ is his first release on PB Music and you can expect big things to come!

Where did you draw your inspiration from for ‘Neville’s Declaration’?

I took inspiration from Neville’s Declaration from one of my favourite songs named ‘Over Again’ by Eli & Fur. I wanted to make a song that was more chilled and you could end a set on as the other 2 songs in the EP are a bit more hard hitting and dark.

What did you use in the production of the track? (any specific hardware/software/plugins etc)

When I produce I only use Logic and my sample library of over 10,000 audio files varying from drum hits to movie vocal clips. As of yet, I haven’t found hardware beneficial in my production as I’m at a stage where I don’t want things to be too overly complicated.

How do you think your time at Point Blank has helped with the making of the track?

I began producing the track whilst I was studying my Sound design module. This opened me up to all of Komplete by Native Instruments and almost all of the sounds are created in Absynth which was a VST I hadn’t previously used. Pri, r to this I would only use Massive and thanks to Point Blank instructor Nick Feldman my music has far more variety now than it ever has before.

Are you working on any other projects at the moment?

Currently I’m just perusing festival bookings over the summer and looking for a booking agency and management to push me further with both my DJing and Production. I have a large backlog of tunes waiting for release but am biding my time before putting them out!
