DJ/Production Course Level 1

This course is excellent for those that have a bit more time to learn the essentials at a beginner level. Our lecturers go into greater depth on technique and knowledge. We also dive into production – teaching you the industry standard practice and basic expectations of all professional producers. Some topics include: equipment & set up, cueing, beat-matching, creative mixing, EQ-ing, effects, looping, Ableton Live overview, making beats, recording and editing audio, and mixing techniques. This course is amazing for those that have a basic understanding of DJing and wish to push further with advanced learning. Some topics include: advanced beat matching, advanced looping, hot cues, harmonic mixing, advanced effects, analogue turntables, scratch techniques, digital DJ tricks, warping & slicing, sound design, side chaining, mixing, and mastering.
