Attack Magazine are Seeking an Intern
Attack Magazine is a cutting edge dance music website offering an essential mix of content which covers the full spectrum of electronic music. Speaking to a large global audience, Attack delivers impartial equipment news, high profile artist interviews, technique masterclasses, tech reviews and industry insight.
Attack also has a newly launched subscription sound service for dance music producers, giving users access to royalty free sounds and production tools from leading labels such as Sample Magic, Raw Loops, Samplestar and ModeAudio.
The magazine is seeking a reliable, driven, tech savvy and meticulous intern who is passionate about electronic music, pro audio and digital publishing to work across the magazine and store platforms.
Key responsibilities will include:
– Assisting with website administration and content ingestion
– Assisting with label A&R and release formatting
– Assisting with research for features
– Assisting with writing news and feature stories
– Liaising with our label partners and customers
The ideal candidate will have strong music production and audio formatting skills (proficient using DAWs such as Logic and Ableton and familiarity with hardware such as Native Instruments Maschine and Ableton Push), strong written communication and a keen attention to detail. Familiarity with WordPress preferable but not essential.
This is a two day a week position based in Attack Magazine’s east London office. It is unpaid, but daily expenses will be covered. If you would like to be considered, please send your CV and cover letter to patrick@pointblanklondon.com.
