Nowhere is this more important than the world of business where it pays to stay ahead of the latest developments and opportunities.
This term, like always, saw a number of special guests come by our London studio complex as part of our Music Industry module. All of these ‘lectures’ are intimate, informal affairs allowing our students plenty of opportunities to put their own questions to the experts. Laura Escudé (Alluxe)
Electronic Creatives CEO Laura Escudé aka Alluxe joined us to break down her track ‘On My Own’. The violinist and Ableton-certified controllerist has worked with Kanye West, Jay-Z, Herbie Hancock Bon Iver and Drake to name a few.

Radio 1 DJ Danny Howard was one of the many special guests who joined us for masterclasses and workshops this term.
Fred P
House-don Fred P (Mule Musiq) hosted a masterclass at our London studios. Stay tuned for a remix competition on one of his tracks on Plugged In.
Chris Read (Whosampled)
Chris Read of Whosampled hosted a seminar on ‘The Art Of Sampling’ at our event in collaboration with Ableton and Brownswood Recordings.
Austen/Scott
London Based duo Austen/Scott joined us at our London studios to break down their track ‘Beyond Thought’, out on Rejected, giving us some tips and talking about their production process.

The Grammy-nominated producer and Saved Records CEO joined us for a track masterclass this term, detailing how he likes to work in the studio.
