Following the success of our last student mixer, we will be returning to Work Bar this February for another night of mixing, moving and incredible music.
Point Blank’s next Student Mixer is set to take place on 13th February and will again feature a killer lineup of our very own student DJs. The event, which will be held at DJ Mag’s headquarters on 3 Chapel Market, London, N1 9EZ, is free to attend for Point Blank students and alumni and is going to be live streamed – so if you’re heading up the mix, make sure to bring your A-game. If you want to gain access to our exclusive artist masterclasses, live panel discussions, mixers at the DJ Mag headquarters and other events you can enrol on a Point Blank course today. We cater to a variety of different skill levels when it comes to our DJ programmes so there is a number of pathways to choose from including our Complete DJ Performance Diploma, DJ/Producer Summer School, BA (Hons) Music Production & DJ Practice Degree and more.
If you’re curious about what goes down at our student mixers, you can check out the highlights from the last one below.
For those of you who fancy jumping on the decks at the next mixer, submit a 30 – 45-minute mix to our student voice leader, Bas de Vries, which showcases your track selection and mixing skills. Upload your mix to Soundcloud with a private or public link and make sure you send it to Bas at basdevries@t-online.de by 1st February as the lineup will be announced the following Wednesday, 6th February. We accept any genre for these mixes so whether you’re a tech house head, a trap queen or a hardstyle honcho, we want to see what you’ve got.
So, make sure you get down to Work Bar on 13th February from 7pm onwards. Bring your friends and let’s make it a night to remember – RSVP to the event here. See you there!
