Sound Engineering Workshop – 28 October 2024 @ 7pm
The main aim of the workshop is to provide you with the fundamental concepts of the recording studio. We will focus on studio signal flow, how to route signals to and from the DAW, and how to use the patch bay to integrate external effects including compressors and reverbs.
Finding Your Sound With Macon (Production Masterclass) – 04 November 2024 @ 6:30pm
Berlin DJ, Macon will take you on a journey through his creative process, offering a rare insight into how he pioneered the Hypertechno genre. He will break down the production techniques behind his latest track while sharing his musical influences and content creation strategies.
Game Audio Techniques & Career Insights – 06 November 2024 @ 6:30pm
Senior Audio Designer for Rebellion Developments, Liam Flannigan, will go through his career journey, starting as an aspiring student to an experienced professional. Detailing the techniques learnt to create AAA-standard sound effects for games, with sound design breakdown into some of Rebellions’ flagship sounds. The workshop will also go into the wider game audio world, exploring the different sound roles available.
Mastering: Tools & Workflow – 13 November 2024 @ 7pm
A step-by-step masterclass of a mastering chain to help understand different mastering tools, the workflow and the philosophy behind certain choices. It’s designed for those wanting to get a head start before studying the Mastering modules as part of their course, or if you just have a genuine interest outside of it.
