PBLA Free Workshop, 21 Nov: Raíz (Droid Behavior), Bon Harris (Nitzer Ebb) & Computo

For those that haven’t yet checked out our Los Angeles school, you have another chance coming up! The next Open House event takes place this Saturday November 21st, and you can register for your FREE tickets via the Eventbrite page to guarantee your place. This is an opportunity to take a tour of our LA school and check out the cutting-edge music tech we have at PBLA. We’re very pleased to announce that pioneering LA techno duo Raíz (Droid Behavior, VRV) will now be making an appearance on the day, to deliver some music industry insight alongside an exclusive Q&A. You’ll also learn some music production essentials with free workshops from our expert instructors, Bon Harris (Nitzer Ebb, Smashing Pumpkins) and Computo (Flying Lotus, A-Trak, Zedd).

Vangelis and Vidal Vargas (aka Raíz) have firmly established themselves as pioneers of the techno scene in Los Angeles. Raíz formed Droid Behavior with Drumcell as a creative collective and event production group in 2002 alongside the Droid Recordings label and more recently VRV, which has seen support from the likes of Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing and Nina Kraviz. In this session, Raíz will drop some unique insight into their experiences and approach for achieving success within the electronic music scene. We’re very happy to have them joining us on November 21 for the latest PBLA Open House, for a music industry insight session and Q&A.
