Alongside his work with Kx5 (Deadmau5 & Kaskade), he has joined forces with other A-listers in the dance world; Tiësto, Oliver Heldens, Sander van Doorn, Moguai and Nile Rodgers.
His tracks have been showcased in world-class festivals including Tomorrowland, Parookaville, HELDEEP, Spinnin Sessions, Revealed Radio, Club Life, and more. He’s also no stranger to underground sanctuaries of events such as Boiler Room, Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave and the eclectic, Berlin Rave Culture. From worldwide festivals to dominating charts, the Hypertechno pioneer earned the title of Soundcloud’s Top Streamed Electronic Artist in 2023.
In this masterclass, Macon will talk about his background and how he developed the genre, Hypertechno. He will also do a track breakdown of one of his latest tracks so viewers can see his production style and techniques. It takes place on the 4th of November at 6:30 pm on our Penn St campus.
