Welcome back to our ‘Live at the Hub’ series, where we invite our London school talents to perform for us live, broadcasted straight from the Student Hub. This time, we invited brotherly DJ duo, Funk Cartel, to soundtrack the lunch break at our London school.
Funk Cartel are a DJ and production duo from London consisting of brothers, Blame Rory (Rory Cochrane) and Kimono Cam (Cameron Cochrane), who are bringing rave-ready funky flavours, feel-good records & life and soul to the underground sound. The pair are residents for THUNDR and have played across the UK including London’s The Ministry of Sound London, Maidstone’s The Source Bar & many more. On this journey, they have supported some of the industry’s best including; Seth Troxler, Latmun, Detlef, Dale Howard, Pawsa, GW Harrison, Alisha, Riaz Dhanani & Emma Knight. With an arsenal of exciting tracks in the pipeline and gigs to come the duo decided to join Point Blank Music School, London to further develop their talents and gain valuable insights into the industry.
