Our Plugged In remix competition with global entertainment brand Formula E has drawn to a close, with over 30 superb entries submitted. The final shortlist for the winning track, which could be featured on a TV broadcast to over 200 million global viewers, was finalised at the end of last week by respective panels from Point Blank and Formula E.
Congratulations to Alex Ulasenko, one half of ElectroVantuz, whose track ‘Zero In’ won our Music Producer Competition. Alex fought off some serious competition to not only win some fantastic prizes, but he will now also be working alongside Formula E’s resident DJ, EJ and the Formula E music team in developing his winning track for TV broadcast. Winner
Alex Ulasenko’s effort really caught the ear of both Point Blank and Formula E, despite it being up against some seriously strong competition. ‘Zero In’ is a dark, heavy track that makes use of some excellently programmed drums that are reminiscent of The Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy in their heyday. When you listen to the track, it provides the perfect mental soundtrack for the Formula E cars zipping round the track and battling for position.

Well done (and commiserations) to the following producers, who all achieved high scores from the Point Blank and Formula E panels.
Formula E continue to look for emerging producer talent as they build their library of world class music for the use in their global TV broadcast, as well as EJ’s DJ sets at the races and club and festivals worldwide. But at this moment in time please let us congratulate Alex once more for winning the first ever Formula E/Point Blank Music Producer competition. Next time it could be you!
