pointblank CEO, Rob Cowan, Joins the Board of Trustees for Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Charity

We’re delighted to share some exciting developments in pointblank’s ongoing partnership with Last Night A DJ Saved My Life (LNADJ), a charity that continues to create meaningful impact through the power of music and education worldwide.

For those unfamiliar with LNADJ, this remarkable UK-based charitable organisation was founded by Jonny Lee with a clear mission: harnessing the universal language of music to drive positive change in communities across the globe. With legendary DJ and producer Norman Cook (better known as Fatboy Slim) as one of its ambassadors, LNADJ has spearheaded transformative projects ranging from building schools to providing clean water access, always keeping creativity and compassion at the heart of its work.

A Growing Partnership

pointblank Music School has been a steadfast supporter of LNADJ’s mission for many years, contributing not just financial sponsorship but also valuable educational and creative resources. Our commitment extends to donating professional DJ and music production equipment and providing funding opportunities for students from underprivileged backgrounds to access university-level music education. We firmly believe in the transformative power of music education, particularly for young people in communities with limited resources.

As LNADJ continues to evolve, the charity has recently expanded its board of trustees to include a more diverse representation of leaders from across the music industry. We’re thrilled to announce that Rob Cowan, CEO of pointblank Music School, has officially joined LNADJ’s board of trustees. As one of the charity’s longest-standing and most involved partners, this appointment represents a significant deepening of our shared commitment to supporting global youth through music and education.

Global and Local Impact

The partnership between pointblank and LNADJ extends across borders, with active involvement in projects both internationally and within the UK. Closer to home, we’re working alongside LNADJ to identify youth initiatives within the UK that align with their vision. By supporting these programmes, we’re helping to nurture the next generation of DJs, producers, and creators who might otherwise lack access to equipment, training, or mentorship.

Looking Forward

This strengthened collaboration between pointblank Music School and Last Night A DJ Saved My Life marks an exciting new chapter in our shared journey. We’re committed to expanding our impact and creating even more opportunities for young people worldwide whose lives can be transformed through music.

Stay tuned for updates as this meaningful partnership continues to grow and evolve. We can’t wait to share stories of the lives being changed through our combined efforts in music education and community development.
