We’ve collaborated with the incredible charity Last Night A DJ Saved My Life (LNADJ) to help donate 30 iMacs to Sierra Leone. If you haven’t heard of them, they’re an organisation that links the global electronic music community with charitable projects. By working with renowned DJs and musicians, the charity raises funds and awareness for various causes, supporting those in need through life-affirming ventures.
We, as a leading music education institution, are proud to be part of such a valuable mission. This unique initiative harnesses the power of music to support life-changing projects. It aligns with pointblank’s commitment to nurturing talent and reflects a shared vision to use music as a force for good.
We have pointblank students, alumni, and staff participating in donating technology, instruments, production and DJ gear – anything that offers young people a chance to explore their creativity. pointblank alumni, Mash P, has traveled with 30 iMacs to start a community creative hub in Sierra Leone. This hub will help students learn music production, photo shop, video editing, and more.
‘Seeing the impact of these donations and the difference they make to the communities confirms the need for Get Equipped‘ said Jonny Lee, founder of LNADJ, ‘and how grateful we are for this support‘.
Stay tuned for more updates on how you can get involved with pointblank and LNADJ, and help spread the message that music can, and should, be a force for positive change. This is more than just a partnership; it’s a movement that you can be a part of!
