‘Samplethon’ Competition at Point Blank London
Attention all beat makers and sampling addicts – we want to hear your best tracks! On Sunday 15th October we will be opening our doors for the third edition of the ‘Samplethon.’ The competition will be held at our London school, in collaboration with WhoSampled, KPM Music and Ableton. Ahead of the competition day, we’ll be selecting 20 competitors to bring their best sampling and production games to the table – simply submit your best track to us as a SoundCloud link to samplethon@whosampled.com before 6th October to put yourself in the running to participate on the day. Royal Armouries x Royal College of Music Composition Competition
The Royal Armouries invites student composers to submit a composition to be performed at a high profile occasion in the UK in 2018 to mark the end of the commemoration of the centenary of the First World War. The competition will be led by an internationally renowned judging panel and the winning composition will be premiered as part of an event produced by the Royal Armouries as part of their First World War Commemorative Events Programme.
The competition supported by the Royal College of Music will award the winner a prize of £3,000.
