Thamesmead Radio Opportunity
Artist and producer Sam Skinner has been invited by TACO! to develop a new radio station for Thamesmead. A pilot for the radio station will go live on air in October 2018 for a period of 28 days, turning TACO! Into a live radio station, broadcasting a programme of local talent, music, artists, interviews, local history and more.
From July 2018 onwards TACO will be offering training in broadcast and music production by professionals from the world of radio to people who want to get involved in the running of the station or make a radio programme. They are also looking for people to submit ideas for new shows for their 4-week pilot programme in October. If you’re interested in either opportunity please contact info@thamoradio.org.
Fudge & The Frequency: Studio Assistant Opportunity
Recording artist Fudge & The Frequency is building a studio space in Heathrow and is looking for a studio assistant. Responsibilities will include assisting on ongoing projects and input into the work. The successful candidate will have access to the studio outside of this, including an isolated drum room, live room (up to 10 musicians), vocal booth and control room. Lizzi: Keyboard Player Opportunity
Lizzi is a singer and songwriter who makes soul-pop/contemporary R&B and a Point Blank alumnus. She’s looking for someone who into her style of music who could play keyboards at her upcoming live dates. The position is unpaid but ticket sales are split evenly.
