Ibiza Sonica are Looking for Radio DJs
Radio station Ibiza Sonica have approached Point Blank with an excellent paid opportunity that is open to students and alumni of our Radio courses. They are looking for a new presenter to do live broadcasts and some studio shows throughout the summer. A passion for electronic music is essential, as is a desire to live in Ibiza for the season! Here’s the key requirements:
– Bilingual (English and Spanish) – other languages will also be valued
– Excellent English speaker (this is a must!)
– Good voice and voice placement
– Wide knowledge of electronic music, including artists / labels / history / industry
– Experience in the music and radio industry will be valued
– Experience in live broadcasting will also be valued
– Knowledge of audio editing software
– Good presence
– Good writing and interviewing skills
– Driving licence
– Full-time availability from May until October
– Good disposition for team work and the ability and drive to learn new things
– Excellent problem solving ability

30 Ducks (Paloma Faith, Luke Friend) are Seeking Male Vocalists Aged 16 – 18
Calling male vocalists aged 16-18! 30 Ducks, the in-house producers at EC1 Studios, are excited to announce a brand new venture, seeking the brightest talent that the UK’s stage schools and music academies have to offer to form a new boyband.
30 Ducks are well established within the industry, having collaborated on projects with Paloma Faith, Luke Friend and several successful acts from The Voice and The X Factor. They are now seeking to form a boy band to release a recent track produced in the London Studios. 30 Ducks will produce, record and promote the material as well as providing you with an opportunity to record a video alongside the track. For the vocalists that impress the most at audition, both with their singing talent and personality, we have a limited number of places.
They are looking at a range of ages from 16-18 male, from a variety of musical genres – the most important thing is talent! 30 Ducks will be holding the audition day on the 4th May from 6pm-9pm at 353-355 Goswell rd, EC1V 7JL, just seconds away from Angel tube station.
