Music Producer Wanted with Platinum Selling Artist
We have a very special opportunity this week to work with an artist who we can’t actually name. Suffice it to say that he is a multi-award winning musician with a successful career as a solo artist and with his band, who have a certified-platinum selling album as part of their catalogue. Summary
We require an Ableton Live producer to help complete an album and theatre project that is 90% done. The project has a label release scheduled for the end of summer and will be adapted for the west end theatre as a musical. There are a total of 13 tracks and you will be working with a major label artist. Please submit links to your music when expressing interest. There is potential to work on further releases in addition to this project.
Project Requirements
Refix 2 tracks that were created for another project to fit in with this project. This includes adding percussion tracks, editing drum patterns and potentially adding melody tracks.
Mix in new vocals and guitar tracks to 11 existing tracks. These tracks are 90% produced and mixed, but we now have new vocal and guitar tracks to replace the guides.
Adapt these 13 tracks for the stage. Attend theatre meetings and make fast turnarounds for edits.
Genre
Electronic music on the tech house/chill out/rnb/hip hop spectrum, fused with organic percussive african elements.
Skills
- Skilled with Ableton Live
- Love making beats!
- Confident with taking on an existing project and bringing that aesthetic to refix two new tracks.
- Experience with mixing projects to high standard
- Experience working with industry standard plugins i.e. Waves.
- Experience mixing vocals (and guitars but not essential as you can pick this up easily).
- Bonus if you have a home studio with the ability to record guitars or vocals, but not required.
Availability
Primarily next two months, the project has potential to extend further.
Payment with be project based and to be discussed with the chosen producer.
