We’re excited to announce that Point Blank has teamed with Relativity Education, the first and only school of its kind created with a Major Hollywood studio, to develop the Scoring for Film module as part of their two-week Adult Intensive course in Los Angeles. This programme fosters a practical, cross-disciplinary approach and introduces students to the art form’s best practices as they complete solo and collaborative projects working alongside students across various film disciplines. Other workshops offered include various disciplines within filmmaking and performing arts, and with the course based out of the entertainment capital of the world, students really are granted insider knowledge.
Of course, many of Point Blank’s existing LA courses feature modules that specifically focus on working to brief and scoring for film, including the Music Industry Project module that forms part of our comprehensive Music Production & DJ course Therefore it makes perfect sense that Point Blank’s course developers have worked closely alongside Relativity to create this bespoke module as part of their Adult Intensive programme.
The intensive course begins on 20th June and lasts for two weeks, every Monday to Friday and first Saturday, 9am to 5:30pm. Details on the Scoring for Film module can be found here while information on the wider course can be found here.
