These opportunities come exclusively from our extensive network of industry contacts, and can range from DJ performance to internships and paid roles too. Jazz FM has Openings for Interns
Jazz FM plays the world’s greatest jazz, blues and soul from the world’s greatest artists, and we’ve teamed up with them for a special partnership offering work experience in 2016 to interns interested in music, radio and live events. As well as being one of the largest commercial jazz radio stations in the world, Jazz FM hosts the annual Jazz FM Awards and co-founded the Love Supreme Festival. The placement is ideal for anyone from Point Blank who wants to gain experience across a wide range of music industry areas.
There is no salary involved but travel expenses will be covered and there are often free gig tickets! Candidates are likely to work on live studio sessions, artist liaison, music library assistance, research, press releases, gig listings management and (depending on the time of year) hands-on at Jazz FM Awards and Love Supreme. Jazz FM is looking for someone motivated and smart, with great organisational and people skills.

Singer/Songwriter Seeks Guitarist to Rehearse, Jam and Perform With
Point Blank has been contacted by an upcoming singer/songwriter, who is currently looking to work with any aspiring musicians or guitarists who would like to jam, rehearse and perform with her. The singer/songwriter in question has original song to perform as well old time cover songs. This could be an excellent opportunity, if you’re looking to make contacts and collaborate with artists based in London.
