Since opening its doors in January last year, Point Blank Los Angeles has introduced hundreds of graduates to the world of music production and DJ’ing. In that time we’ve seen some huge developments, from the recent introduction of our DJ Studios and with it our flagship Music Production and Sound Design course, to a range of guest artists including Daddy Kev, TEED, Mr. Carmack and many more. With that in mind we took some time out to catch up with some current students and graduates to get the lowdown on their learning experience at PBLA.
Amongst the PBLA students and graduates interviewed was Travis Holcombe – a leading influence in the LA music scene with a show on KCRW. Along with 3 other students, Travis highlights how his course (part of our Music Production & Sound Design course) helped him progress from developing simple initial ideas through to finishing full tracks.
