At Point Blank, we place a real emphasis on our students putting in the work in order to make their goals in the music industry a reality. When they finish their studies with us, we help them recognise those achievements with some very special events organised at the end of each term – events that give our graduating students the chance to put their new skills into practise, whether studying live sound, singing or DJing. They’re always great fun, and are a fantastic way of our students getting to perform what they’ve been working on.

This term’s events took place on the 1st & 3rd of December, at Orsman Road pub The Stags Head. This was a chance for students to relax and celebrate with their peers after all the hard work they have put in over the past months, so the vibe was always going to be celebratory. On the 1st December, PB’s DJ students took to the decks to curate the music for the event, showing off their skills and making sure the music was on point throughout the evening. A separate event two days later featured performances from Point Blank singing students, demonstrating what they’ve learnt over the course of their studies. With some incredible talent performing, it was a fantastic opportunity for them to perform in front of a live audience and an equally fantastic opportunity for our audience to get the chance to listen to some of the future’s potential stars.
