Last week, pointblank Los Angeles opened its doors for a very special event, pointblank Presents. A chance for prospective students to explore what pointblank LA has to offer, we laid on giveaways and music. Furthermore, a very special ‘Meet the Owners of pointblank’ panel, moderated by course advisor Hart Thorson, saw PB CEO Rob Cowan and Head of pointblank Los Angeles Jesse Rogg discuss their own colourful music careers, as well as providing some behind the scenes insight into pointblank, our past, present and future.
Suffice to say, it was a packed event and provoked some interesting discussions. If you were unable to attend, peep the images below to get a sense of how the evening played out. The evening started with a presentation from each of our expert instructors, from left to right: Sweatson Klank (ITP and Mixing classes), Gaby Ferrer (NI Maschine specialist), Viktor (DJ tutor and school coordinator), Joe Caputo (Music Composition and sound Design – Modular synth specialist), Brian MarkMan (Music Composition), David Harrow (MIP).
We promised you giveaways, and we delivered! Using the time honoured tradition of picking a name out of a hat, we gifted AIAIAI headphones and a Maschine Jam.
Based out of Mack Sennett Studios, pointblank Los Angeles is located within a unique, creative environment that resonates with cultural history. During the course of the event, Course Advisor Hart Thorson gave an informative guide of our cutting edge equipment and facilities, offering a taste of the unique environs in the process.
