After the success of last year’s event, Point Blank are once again heading to Malta to co-curate the International Music Summit’s (IMS) summer educational programme, IMS College Malta, as the official education partner. From the 7th – 9th July, a number of respected industry speakers and artists will be providing panels, keynotes and masterclasses covering the four pillars of music education: performance, production, promotion and publishing. There will also be networking events and DJ performances in the evenings including Sven Vath (Cocoon), DJ Agoria, Todd Terry and Richy Ahmed (Hot Creations). You can buy tickets here.
Point Blank will be curating the entire first day of the event. Carly Hordern will be hosting an artist masterclass with a very special guest, whilst PB course developer Ski Oakenfull will be deconstructing Jamiroquai’s ‘Automaton’ and creative director JC Concato presents a masterclass sharing his essential tips and techniques for mixing tracks for the club. Attendees can expect additional masterclasses and panels as part of a full day of programming curated by Point Blank.
