Less known are the moves he’s made in the industry since leaving the group, but it all adds up to a man who knows how to make it in music as well as just about anyone. Introducing Arabian Prince!
Arabian Prince in his native LA
A songwriter, rapper, producer, DJ and technologist, Arabian Prince is best known for being a founding member of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group N.W.A. But even prior to that, he was pioneering west coast electro music much in the same way as Dr Dre did with his World Class Wreckin’ Cru. Arabian Prince left N.W.A though at the height of their fame, going on to carve his own, singular path.
Always fascinated by technology, (he took a very early laptop with him on N.W.A’s early tours) Arabian was drawn to working in video games and in the 90’s created a 3D animation and special effects studio, working with companies like Saban Entertainment and Fox and eventually working on 100+ video game titles for Fox Interactive and Vivendi Universal. As a consultant, Arabian has advised many companies on bridging the gap between technology and the youth, and he’s always striving to bring new product innovations to market.
