When it comes to remixing there are almost an infinite amount of options. Not only can modern tools stretch and warp stems to an almost recognisable point, switching genres, styles and bpms can mean something totally new can be created.
PB instructors Seamus Haji and Ski Oakenfull are taking the FFL hot seat to take you through Seamus’s recent remix for Izzy Bizu – a former PB student and BBC Sound of 2016 finalist. Seamus created the remix in Ableton Live and, along with Ski, he will be showing you tips and techniques used for arrangement, mixing and sound design. Watch the broadcast like at 1pm BST and get your Qs in for both Seamus and Ski!
Seamus Haji has worked with and remixed the likes of Moby, Kes$ha, Olly Murs, Holly Johnson and many more
