Disclosure are not only one of the most defining and innovative producers of the past five years, they’re also continuing the innovations on stage with their unique live show. Not satisfied with their already incredible stage setup from the previous tour, the Lawrence brothers have refined the rider, combining old classics like the Juno-6 with Roland’s modern favourite the TR-8 drum machine. Keen to give the audience a greater experience as the size of their tours grow, they also show off their guitar and bass skills as well as taking it clubbier with a 15-minute improvised techno jam.
Our pals at Red Bull Music Academy grabbed the guys during soundcheck in Lyon last month to get an exclusive tour around the hardware and software behind their latest gigs. In their 15 minute video the guys give a detailed run through of the setup, the challenges and the premise behind the show. Watch the video above and make sure you head over to the RBMA website for the full lowdown.
