DJ Ravine Studies at Point Blank in London! Watch Week Two of his Vlog

Top Australian DJ and Vlogger DJ Ravine has officially joined Point Blank to study in London! Known for his top mixes and instructional videos that he shares with his legions of subscribers on YouTube, Ravine was keen to learn more about how to start making his own tracks, and decided to make the trip to study Introduction to Music Production, Music Composition and Sound Engineering with Point Blank at our school in London. Ravine will be vlogging his experiences on the course every week. Welcome to Week 2!

In week two, ravine takes us along to check out the Lumiere festival, before asking a few of his fellow students from all over the globe about what brought them to our school in London. Next we follow him into his Sound Engineering class with Anthony Chapman, as he and his classmates try and get to grips with our SSL mixing desk.

One of the many perks of studying at Point blank is the access to our studios available to our students, and DJ Ravine makes use of it this week, laying down a beat using Ableton’s drum rack. Week two of Introduction to Ableton stays with the drums, and ravine puts his recently acquired knowledge to good use.
