Mastering with Ableton Live Part 3: Final EQ and Limiting

Mastering for the club can involve a lot of different stages. In a three-part series on our YouTube channel, mastering engineer Alex Zinn (Richie Hawtin, Typ3 Records) shows you how to get your tracks weighty, tight and sounding huge on a club soundsystem. In the third part, he takes a look at final EQ tweaks and limiting your tracks for maximum volume. You can watch the video below and make you subscribe to our channel for more tutorials and live events.

We recently made our mastering courses cross-platform meaning you can take them in both Ableton Live and Logic Pro X. As part of our diploma courses, you can study mastering alongside mixing, composition and more, taking your tracks to the next level. Find out more about our Ableton Live Diploma course here.
