Dougal Fry and Bret Wallace are the minds behind the hugely successful Re:Love and F.A.M.I.L.Y parties in Los Angeles. Individually, Dougal and Bret pack two decades of experience as DJs and are key motors behind LA’s club scene, leaving them ideally placed to offer invaluable advice to those starting out.

Xavier De Enciso has been a figure within LA’s electronic music scene since the early ’90s, having DJed at, and promoted, parties featuring the biggest names in dance music. On the flipside, he’s the resident and architect of the LOVEFIX collective, whose parties aim to nurture the underground. Further cementing his deep rooted knowledge, he submitted, as part of his Masters degree in Chicana/o studies, a thesis on LA’s rave scene during the 1990s.

Thee-O is a DJ, label owner and respected producer. He has been heralded as one of the most popular and hardworking DJs in Los Angeles, and with experience stretching back to ’92, playing alongside Outkast, Orbital, Underworld, 2 Bad Mice, Carl Craig, Aphex Twin and more, it’s easy to see why. Currently, Thee-O is relaunching Viva La Tech with his partners to create underground events, radio shows and label with a techno focus. We look forward to welcoming his unique perspective to the event.

G-Dubbs is a key player and advocate in LA House Music. With 20 years in the electronic music industry and countless appearances to his credit, he created Sacred Grounds, one of the longest running house events on the west coast. Never one to stand still, he continues to develop his sound and DJ techniques hand-in-hand with technological advancements and has played some of the most respected venues, alongside the biggest DJ stars, in the US.

One half of Kompakt and Throne of Blood-signed duo Split Secs, Travis TK Disco cut his teeth on the SF music scene in the early ’90s. Over the last two decades, Travis has played alongside some of dance music’s greatest, from Jeff Mills and Optimo to Metro Area and Prins Thomas. In addition to running the Machine Limited label and throwing one of LA’s sweatiest jams, Machine, you can hear him play out at any number of LA’s best parties including Doc Martin’s Sublevel, Making Shapes and A Club Called Rhonda.

Starting out as a techno and breakbeat DJ in ’92, Zack Hill has evolved into one of LA’s most respected figures among those who know. However, besides from his musical purview and technical skill, he is also the promoter behind the successful $5DollahFunk$ series of events (30+ events over a 9 year span), as well as his weekly internet podcast TribeRadio, which reaches one million-plus subscribers.

Chris Long is the producer behind experimental electronic group HarmonikElektronik alongside vocalist Danee Long. However, to fans of house music, he is probably best known for being a respected DJ – with over 20 years experience – and owner of the record store Higher Source.

Kenneth Graham, aka Controlteam, built up broad discography and loyal fanbase thanks to his productions released in the late ’90s and 2000s. A DJ with over 20 years of experience, his brainchild, Control Team, was among the first to provide live mixes to a worldwide audience via the internet, and he continues to keep apace with technological advances, reaching a whole new audience through his DJ sets.
