For this Plugin of The Week, Point Blank’s plugin-scientist JC Concato has decided to test something a little bit different. The Molot compressor is 100% free, made by Vladg/Sound. It is The fact that it offers saturation control means that this plugin is not a transparent compressor, rather adding its own distinct colour to sound. It’s limiter and fast attack make it a versatile tool, proving to be particularly good on drum or master busses. Check it out for yourself in the above video, as JC puts it through its paces.
