The year kicked off with an electrifying Student Mix Party at our Orsman Road campus. This gathering wasn’t just a party; it was a melting pot of talent and inspiration, setting a high bar for the rest of the year.

Our journey through 2023 took us through a fascinating Music Analysis of ‘Interstellar’ with our music composition tutor Elena Alekseeva. Meanwhile in London, the Social Media Branding lecture by Tom Leek of NYX agency was a game-changer, offering strategies to maximize the impact of social media platforms for artists.

Later on in the year, Ski Oakenfull, Head of Education & Curriculum at Point Blank and a prolific music producer, gave us an exclusive look at the new Ableton Push, providing our students with a glimpse into the future of music production. This hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology is a testament to Point Blank’s commitment to staying at the forefront of music education.

The summer months were no less exciting. A behind-the-scenes look at John Newman’s Live DJ and vocal setup provided a rare insight into the professional world of live music performance.
