The latest mix to be featured on Pioneer DJ Radio’s Point Blank show comes from Ashley Low. Hailing from Lucerne, she relocated to London to study the Intro to Music Production and the Complete DJ Course and has since watched her profile grow as she gained more confidence and adaptability as a DJ. She took time out from her packed DJ schedule to create this upbeat, pop-loaded mix and give us an update on where she’s at right now.
Talking about her time at PB, Ashley praised the positive effect the courses had on her career. “Even though I’d already DJ’d at a few places before attending, [Point Blank] was very helpful to me. Before I went to Point Blank I was only able to perform with my Traktor set-up which I brought to all my gigs. Now I’m familiar with CDJs and Rekordbox which helped a lot. I gained more flexibility. And as a DJ you’ve got to be flexible, I tell you that, man! Also whenever I had a question my tutor would take his time and try to help me out as much as possible”.
