Robert ‘Robot’ Koch will be This is the latest in a series of guest masterclasses in which students are able to get an insight into the creative processes of some of the best producers and performers in the business. Previous masterclasses have featured the likes of T.E.E.D, Laura Alluxe, Flux Pavilion and Ben Pearce.
All PBLA students and graduates are welcome to attend the masterclass, and we’re also calling for PBLA students/graduates to perform at the event – those interested should submit a mix or track to louis@pointblankmusicschool.com for consideration.
Producer/DJ Robot Koch’s unique sound has been described as ‘wonderful and strange – pop music from the future’ by BBC legend John Peel, from as early as 2003. He works as a producer and composer, having remixed and collaborated with Norah Jones, Bassnectar and Tensnake to name a few. In 2014 he won the German Music Composers award for best composer of electronic music and has had his work featured in several films and TV shows.
