PB Christmas Maschine and Electronic Live Performance Showcase – Sign Up Now

We’re excited to announce a special Point Blank Christmas Maschine and Electronic Live Performance Showcase at the Stag’s Head, Hoxton on Friday, 10th December at 6 PM GMT.

During the event, which will celebrate the end of the academic term, our talented students from across our Music Production and Sound Engineering course and Music Production and DJ programme showcase live electronic music, with DJ and acoustic performances at the forefront. So, if you love live synths and controllers, you’re not going to want to miss this. We’ll also be indulging in Point Blank’s first-ever Karaoke session, where we’ll be bringing on the cheesy Christmas tunes and more.

This event is open to all, students and staff alike as well as friends and family. The Stags Head will also be putting on exclusive food and drink offers for one night only – so be sure to book yourself in. Please reserve your place to avoid disappointment – we are expecting it to be busy.

The lineup for the event, which was organised by Point Blank Lecturer Anna Lakatos, will feature the excellent Bunty Bavishi (DJ), CONFLUENCE (LIVE), Danny Frost (LIVE), GARRETT PAKNIS (LIVE), LoveHate (DJ), M_T (LIVE) and RONAM (Acoustic).

If you’re interested in joining us down at The Stag’s Head more often, Phil Ramacon hosts his regular Open Mic night there, in association with Point Blank. If you’d like to perform, all you need to do is turn up; the pub has a back-line setup and there will be a sound engineer present at the event to ensure you’re sounding your best! The Open Mic takes place every other Wednesday and starts at 7 pm with sign up open from 6:30 pm. Find out more here.
