We’re back once again with Beatport to bring you the second season of their Beats In School competition. If you’re not familiar with how the competition works, all you have to do to enter is submit an original track that fits the sound of one of the partner labels that you’d like to be mentored by. This year’s label roster includes Claude Vonstroke’s club-heavy imprint Dirtybird, drum n bass giants Hospital Records and Deamau5’s Mau5trap and the Berlin-based Second State. There are a huge amount of prizes up for offer this year – and dare we say, they include some of the best giveaways and opportunities yet. The winner of the contest will win a year’s worth of direct A&R and mentoring from the label ambassadors of Dirtybird, Hospital, mau5trap and Second State, alongside a music education like no other – one of our acclaimed music production courses.
