Student Opportunities: Apply to The Unsigned Music Awards + More

We strive to give our students and graduates unique opportunities to get involved within the music industry. These opportunities come exclusively from our extensive network of industry contacts, and can range from DJ performance to internships and paid industry roles too. The Unsigned Music Awards are Looking for Musicians

The Unsigned Music Awards are designed to discover, champion, fund and reward the most promising emerging and proudly independent talent. The inaugural Unsigned Music Awards will take place at The Troxy Theatre, London. Although not an altogether brand new concept, this awards show supported by Jack Daniels, Marshall Amplification, Tunecore, LADbible and TimeOut promises to be the first of its kind to be to be televised.

Some of the categories for entry that are particularly relevant to Point Blank students and graduates include: 

  • Best EP / Album / Record
  • Best Live Act
  • Best Produced / Engineered Unsigned Record
  • Electronic Dance

Application is free and open now for artists of all genres. So if you are a band, singer, mc, producer or aspiring musician and you want more exposure and the chance to work with some of the industry’s most reputable publishers, booking agents, sync agencies, managers, studios and much more then be sure to sign up here. Applications are open until 31st August 2016.

EBH Luminaire are Looking for an Experienced Ableton Live User for an Audiovisual Project

EBH Luminaire are a London-based visual creative company who have worked with events including Wilderness Festival, Way Out West and artists like Karmacoda. They are urgently seeking an experienced Ableton Live user for an upcoming audio visual project.

The daily rate for the project will be £150, with the project taking place over one week maximum. If you’re a current or previous student and you feel that this fits your skill level, send your CV to patrick@pointblanklondon.com.
