What was it like supporting huge artists like Duran Duran and Seal?
“It was one of the most incredible experiences we’ve ever had. We were extremely lucky to have such amazing crew around us. We felt cared-for and we felt the support from Duran Duran and Seal. It was a great honour to be on that tour, it still feels a bit like a dream.”

What cities/venues did you support them in?
“We played 11 UK arenas including The O2 in London, Liverpool’s Echo Arena, The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle and the Manchester Arena. Out of the 11 cities and arenas, our favourites were Cardiff, Brighton and Bournemouth. The people in Bournemouth were so warm and welcoming, and with each song we could feel an increase in energy. The very last gig of the tour, in Liverpool, was also incredible! The overall energy is different because it’s the last night, everyone is relaxed and having fun. Our drummer, Paul Love is from Liverpool, so it added a lot to our mood. For him, it was coming home and playing the arena he always dreamed of playing.”
Do you have any advice for singers and vocalists who are just starting out?
“Life is full of challenges, and there were so many times we could have given up, but we think it’s very important to be persistent and not be scared of challenges. It’s not the talent, it’s persistence and determination. Oh, that’s one more crucial thing – your team is your shield, support and engine. It’s really important to get the right people around you that you trust.”

Looking back on your time at Point Blank now, what would you say was the most important thing you learnt during your studies?
“It’s always frightening for someone who is just starting out. It was great to see how the instruction would make students relax and feel comfortable to experiment. This brings through confidence. We were lucky to have our mum when we were kids looking out for us, but not everyone can have a relaxed family environment that will bring out those skills. The wrong introduction to singing can be intimidating and put someone off.”
What was your favourite part of 2015?
“It was amazing to come back to the UK to concentrate on writing. And of course, the tour was one of our favourite parts of the year!”
What does 2016 hold for Bloom Twins?
“New songs, new videos, new experiences and even more songs, gigs and hopefully festivals. Stay tuned!”
