If you’re a student with us in London you will know we have a long-running partnership with the world’s biggest DJ tech company, Pioneer DJ. What you may not know is that we have a regular slot reserved on Pioneer DJ Radio reserved for pointblank students and alumni. This opportunity gives our students the chance to get their mixes played alongside the likes of top artists like Claptone, Eats Everything and Claude VonStroke (who has studied with PB in the past). PDJR also boasts shows from some of the biggest and best labels including Systematic Recordings, Compost Black and Defected, so you never know who might be tuning into your mix.
If you’re a current student and want to have your DJ mixes considered for broadcast on pointblank’s show on Pioneer DJ Radio, get in touch with Theo at pointblank. Your submitted mix needs to be exactly one hour long, and you should send it in an e-mail as a WeTransfer download with the subject header ‘Pioneer DJ Radio Mix’, detailing the course you’re studying (or course you have studied) and including your social media links too.
Getting your mixes played exclusively on Pioneer DJ Radio is just one of many reasons to learn the craft of DJing at pointblank. When you study DJing with us in London, you learn in a DJ Studio that’s sponsored by Pioneer and features all of the latest top-of-the-range kit including CDJ2000s, DJM2000 Nexus and the DDJ-SX controller. Learning from the some of the best instructors in the industry, you’ll soon be a pro behind the decks and ready to kickstart your career.
