Our music courses for kids (aged 11-13) come with a range of options tailored for whatever your child is interested in. They’ll be able to learn the ins and outs of music-making DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) like Logic Pro and Ableton Live on our music production for kids courses, learn to DJ with our expert lecturers on the DJ course or even learn to sing with our singing course.

Music Production Summer School: Logic Pro
Learn to make music like your favourite artists! Taught at Point Blank’s state-of-the-art recording studios with a professional music producer, those enrolled will learn how to create tracks using Logic Pro X. Our fully trained team of experienced experts have worked with top artists including La Roux, Lily Allen and P Diddy, so whatever style of music you’re into, they can guide you through all of the skills and techniques you’ll need to make it. Each student will have their own workstation and use industry-standard equipment, giving them a fun and exciting peek into the world of music creation.
Music Production Summer School: Ableton Live
Much like our Logic Pro course, the Ableton Live programme is taught by Point Blank’s expert lecturers at our state-of-the-art recording studios. Students will learn the ins and outs of Ableton Live, so whatever style of music you’re into, you’ll learn all of the skills and techniques you’ll need to make it. Each student will have their own workstation and use industry-standard equipment, giving them a fun and exciting peek into the world of music creation.
DJ Summer School
Come along to Point Blank’s DJ Summer School and learn how to spin the decks this year. You’ll be spending 2 days, Saturday and Sunday, in Point Blank’s incredible state-of-the-art Pioneer DJ-sponsored studio learning to mix alongside an experienced professional DJ. Every student will be getting hands-on with their own workstation featuring the latest industry-standard technology, giving you a fun and exciting introduction to the art. And of course, all music genres are welcome!
Singing Summer School
Do you want to be a power singer and not just a shower singer? Then Point Blank’s Singing Summer School is where you need to be this year. Spend five days, Monday-Friday, learning with an expert vocal coach who has worked with the biggest names in music, including Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Robbie Williams and Chaka Khan. You’ll be taught professional vocal techniques used by recording artists including former Point Blank student Leona Lewis. Whatever style of music inspires you, we’ll show you how to deliver a great performance on stage and in the studio. At the end of the week, you’ll be confident and ready to show off your new talent to the rest of the class and your friends and family too.
