Last month we revealed that we were teaming up with London night RESET for a special event spotlighting Point Blank’s rich seam of student talent through a night of choice house music at DJ Mag’s Work Bar. How did we decide on who would make the all-Point Blank line-up? Simple, we ran a competition asking for the very best house mixes you had to offer! And, guess what, you really came through. We had great fun listening to all the submissions and were impressed by the diversity and originality, not to mention the technical proficiency of the entrants – but there was only so much space on the bill. Step forward Technik, Chloe Bates, Talib K and Dan Langton – the winners and PB x RESET DJs. We can’t wait to see what they bring to Work Bar on the 18th November. It’s free and we’ll be kicking off the night with free drinks for RSVPs, but you’ll need to register at the RESET Event page.
PB alumnus Technik is a name that you may have heard before. Some of the most respected clubs and bars in the world, including Ministry of Sound, XOYO, Amnesia and Cafe Mambo in Ibiza have played host to his compelling blend of tech, deep and minimal house, and he’s risen quickly to become part of a new generation of hotly tipped big room DJs He’ll be joined by Talib K, Chloe Bates and Dan Langton, three exciting newcomers from whom we expect massive things.
